Your key duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain regular communication with current landlords
- Organise repairs and maintenance to managed properties and inspect where necessary
- Organise and conduct:
- Periodic inspections
- Condition reports
- Vacating or final inspection
- Prepare, lodge and present applications to the VCAT and act in accordance with orders
- Track rent arrears
- Carry out rent reviews
- Duties as requested by agency Principal and Team Leader
- Identify challenges and be solution focused to address these on behalf of and in collaboration with the team
- Oversee property compliance with company policies and procedures as well as relevant legislation.
- Check and approve tenancy applications
- Supervise the execution of Tenancy Agreements and associated documents
- Prepare and place advertisements for available rental properties
- Manage rental enquiries and show available properties
- Organise appointments and conduct open for inspections
To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:
- Must have prior experience in property management
- Current industry standard certifications are essential
- Reliable car/drivers licence
- Finley tuned negotiation skills
- Excellent phone manner
- Corporate presentation
- An eye for attention to detail
- Strong computer skills
- Organised, reliable and be willing to take on a diverse range of tasks
